Bio - Catherine Doolos

Cathy DoolosMrs. Doolos is currently assigned as the Deputy Program Executive Officer, Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  Her primary areas of management are the Logistics and Financial business application systems.

Mrs. Doolos graduated from Troy State University in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration in 1987.  She completed post-master’s work in Information Technology/Management Information Systems, George Washington University.  In 2000, she achieved a Masters of National Resource Strategies from the National Defense University, Industrial College of Armed Forces.

Mrs. Doolos’s government education includes the Defense Leadership and Management Program; Advanced Program Management Course; DoD Executive Leadership Development Program, and Army Management Staff College.

Mrs. Doolos has over 15 years of progressively responsible program management experience involving all facets of the acquisition process.  She is Army Acquisition Corps certified in Program Management; Business, Cost Estimating and Financial Management; and Information Resource Management.  Her more recent assignments include program analyst support with the Project Manager Strategic & Theater Command & Control Systems, Ft Belvoir, VA, where she was selected for the 1997 inaugural Competitive Development Group and assigned to the Program Manager, Special Programs Support Activity, Special Operations Command, Ft Belvoir, VA as an Assistant Program Manager. 

Mrs. Doolos followed this assignment as an Acquisition Proponency Officer with the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), Pentagon, Arlington, VA.  Following her studies at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Mrs. Doolos was selected as a 2000 board-certified Product Manager for the Defense Message System-Army (DMS-A), PEO EIS, Ft Monmouth, NJ. In 2003, she became the Deputy Project Manager, Enterprise Infostructure.  In 2004, she established the Product Lifecycle Management Plus program office, PEO EIS, Ft Belvoir, VA and transitioned it to a board-certified Product Manager in December 2004.
