Colonel Amanda W. Gladney is the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) for the Joint Staff.  As DCIO, Col Gladney is responsible for assisting the Joint Staff Chief Information Officer in programming, planning, engineering and executing Information Technology Enterprise Architecture. 

Col. Gladney was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. She graduated from Moon High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1984, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Behavior from the United States Air Force (USAF) Academy in 1988 and a Master of Science Degree in Management from National-Louis University in 1994. She is a graduate of the USAF Squadron Officer School, the Air Command and Staff College, and the Air War College.
