Bio - Robert Golden

Robert GoldenMr. Golden is currently serving as the Director of Product Realization Directorate, CERDEC, RDECOM providing the leadership of an organization consisting of 252 engineering professionals responsible for influencing design during the development phase, product and life-cycle logistics management support during production, deployment and sustainment phases for all C4ISR systems.  Responsible for production, producibility, maintenance engineering, quality management, manufacturing test and evaluation, value engineering, lean six sigma, tech data management, failure analysis and corrective action, obsolescence planning, lead-free soldering, corrosion, foreign military sales, human factors engineering, testability, manufacturing technology, product surveillance and reliability engineering/analysis for all C4ISR systems.

Mr. Golden previously served as the DA Board Select Project Manager Tactical Radio Communications Systems (PM TRCS) provided the leadership of an organization consisting of 4 DA Board Select Product Managers, 3 Divisions, and 3 Project Director Offices totaling 568 personnel, executing +$5B. Overall responsible for the program management of 44 programs that provide the Warfighters of all services and coalition forces with the battle command network communication systems and logistics support to meet their data and voice needs.  Recognized by SEC Army as the 2005 Project Manager of the Year. 
 Mr. Golden previously served as the Department of the Army Board Select Project Manager for Defense Communications and Army Transmission Systems (PM DCATS) consisting of two subordinate Product Managers, three Assistant Project Managers, and three Divisions, totaling 213 personnel, executing a program with a POM value in excess of $2B.  PM DCATS serves the CINC, Joint Warfighters, Combatant Commanders, all services, and Joint Staff with dedicated World Wide long haul terrestrial and strategic satellite communications capability through the Defense Information System Network (DISN).
