CAPT Didier LeGoff

CAPT Didier LeGoffCaptain Didier LeGoff currently serves as the program manager of the Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160) for the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) in San Diego, Calif.

CAPT LeGoff is a 1988 graduate of Northwestern University where he earned a degree in Economics and received his commission through the school’s Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. He subsequently earned a Masters of Science with distinction in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif.

As a Surface Warfare Officer, LeGoff served as boilers officer, CIC officer, and navigator aboard USS Ogden (LPD 5); operations and plans officer for COMPHIBRON 5; and as a department head and 1st Lieutenant aboard USS Anchorage (LSD 36). LeGoff completed five Western Pacific deployments, including three to the Arabian Gulf during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and twice to Somalia in support of UNISOM II.

After his department head tour, LeGoff became an Engineering Duty Officer. In February 1999, he reported for his first SPAWAR assignment, serving in the Engineering Directorate (SPAWAR 05) and in the Afloat Networks Program Office (PMW 165).

Follow-on acquisition assignments were to OPNAV N-6 as the section head for Space and Communications, and as the assistant program manager for CVN 21 Future Carriers Program Office (PEO CV/PMS 312).

LeGoff returned to SPAWAR as the executive assistant to PEO C4I. He assumed his current position after serving as the deputy program manager for the Command and Control Program Office (PMW 150).

His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy Commendation Medal (two awards), and the Navy Achievement Medal (two awards).
