Migration to "the Cloud" -- Implications for Defense Intelligence

Over the last several years, Defense Intelligence has learned some hard-fought lessons about support to operations in a coalition environment. Afghanistan and Libya have caused us to re-formulate our working operational and intelligence assumptions as DoD and IC both begin to speed-up broad implementation of "Cloud" technologies.  We must understand and mitigate the security risks, fully embrace the enterprise cross-domain services model, wrestle with identity and access management in a multi-national environment, and maintain alignment between the DOD and IC architectures - while supporting comms and network disadvantaged warfighters.  Our guests on March 23 from the DoD Services, Combat Support Agencies, and the IC will share strategies for balancing these and other priorities as the migration to the "Cloud" marches forward.
