AFCEA DC’s May luncheon will feature a rare speaking appearance in our market by Vinton G. Cerf. Widely known as a "Father of the Internet,". He will share his perspectives on the future of technology in government.
In addition, AFCEA DC will use the May luncheon to honor its 17 DC Metro area high school scholarship winners, who will each receive $8,000. The chapter program promotes higher education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Since May 1989, AFCEA DC has committed $1,948,500 to 300 students in the DC Metro area from 100 high schools entering 66 U.S. colleges.
