You and a guest are invited to join AFCEA DC on May 17, 2008 at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner for the Spring Leadership Awards Gala. A combination of the best of the Spring Leadership Dinner and Summer Solstice, this event will recognize program excellence in the defense technology community where significant contributions have been made in support of the Warfighter – all on Armed Forces Day.
This formal, black tie event will include a gourmet dinner, an awards ceremony, and dancing to the sounds of Rob Leonard and the Blue Moon Big Band Orchestra. Don’t miss this opportunity to interact with senior government and industry leadership in support of AFCEA DC at the Spring Leadership Awards Gala.
As part of the program, AFCEA DC will recognize a member from each branch of the military that has made a significant contribution to the Warfighter through the use of information technology (special consideration will be given for decisive bravery). A 12-Star Panel, consisting of recently retired three-stars will serve as the selection committee for this program.

Prior to acceptance, individual DoD personnel must obtain the required supervisor or ethics official determination that attendance is in the interest of their agency.
