Members of government, military, industry, and academia - who are 40 and under - are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Attendees do not have to be a member of AFCEA. However, we ask that everyone attending the PD program be under 41.

The Young AFCEANs of the Washington DC Chapter are pleased to announce the Fall offering of our professional development program.  We have the honor of welcoming highly successful senior executives from the military, government and industry to participate in a panel discussion on Federal Sales.  The forum will include a moderator and four or five panel members. Our goal is to provide the audience “take away” items that will enhance their careers and professional lives as it pertains to government contracting and specifically, federal acquisition.  Panel members will provide a government perspective, and advice. Be assured that there will be plenty of time for the audience to ask questions of this distinguished panel.

Following the panel, we shall host a networking reception on location. The reception offers a superb opportunity for you to meet and mingle with these accomplished leaders, as well as your fellow attendees. The Professional Development Series strives to provide Young AFCEANs with additional leadership and management tools, along with professional references - in order to assist in your personal development and individual career progression.
