Mark Batenchuk is President of SCOPE GROUP, a government contractor and full-service recruiting firm dedicated to providing customized staffing solutions to the defense and intelligence community in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

Mark has been an active member of the DC AFCEA Chapter for several years and currently serves as Co-Chair of our Young AFCEAN (YAFCEAN) Chapter. Mark is working with the YAFCEAN Chair to launch a new “Lunch & Learn” program designed to educate participants in current and emerging technologies. Mark collaborates with industry and government leaders to plan and present these educational seminars by way of video teleconference. The first session, entitled “Satellite Communications in the Mobile Environment – Making the Complex Simple,” will broadcast March 27.

In addition, Mark serves as the Young AFCEAN Chair for the Luncheon Committee, recruiting and leading an all-volunteer team that serves as the backbone of this support effort.
