DC Chapter News (SIGNAL 5/14/07)

The chapter's annual scholarship luncheon was held in May and featured guest speakers as well as major contributions to educational funding. This year, the chapter recognized 14 scholarship winners and committed a total of $84,000 in scholarship funds. Adm. Edmund P. Giambastiani, Jr., USN, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was in attendance to congratulate each scholarship recipient and present the meeting's keynote address.
