Army issues draft RFP for support services (GCN 12/4/06)

The Army late last week released the draft request for proposals for its almost $1 billion Program Management Support Services-2 contract. Vendors have until Dec. 15 to comment on the draft statement of objectives for PMSS-2. Kevin Carroll, head of the Army’s Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems, said at a recent Washington, D.C., chapter luncheon of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association that his office plans to release the final RFP in January and make awards in the April-to-June time frame.
