About the Professional Development Program

The Professional Development Program provides an opportunity for Young AFCEANS to meet with executive leaders from military, government and industry to discuss their professional challenges and how their leadership succeeded in meeting those challenges.  Attendees learn how these executive leaders communicate with positive impact, successfully address adversity, develop relationships, and meet challenging goals and objectives.  The ultimate goal of this initiative is for our Young AFCEANS to walk away with additional tools and/or references to assist in their own career progression.

The Executive Leaders present a brief overview of their career and the challenges they encountered and overcame.  After the presentations, the Executive Leaders lead four break-out groups of Young AFCEANS to conduct further discussion on the topic.
